The V-nose will help cut the air, but you'll still be dragging most of it behind the trailer. I had a 7x14x6.5' tall cargo trailer that I towed with my previous Ram 1500. After a few trips between Wichita Falls and Dallas TX, I added some Air Tab vortex generators on the sides and roof. The transmission approved of them, with less hunting for the right gear (8 speed) and less sway when a semi or RV passed by me. I've mentioned them before and I am personally sold on their effectiveness. I plan on getting another trailer in the future and it will get the same treatment.
Really interesting. I'm going to check this!

I recently sold my 6 x 12 x78 inch aluminum cargo trailer. 6 wide is great when you have narrow mirrors and no wheel well to deal with. Fit 2 softails staggered and was under 3k loaded. A rear ramp door will add 5 to 6 hundred pounds to the empty weight. A slightly rounded front will add square footage over a v nose and really not much difference towing because rarely do you drive straight into the wind and turbulence from the truck because of fairly short tongues. Avoid the cheap flat front trailers.

Escape Trailer Industries. Very nice. Not as heavy as Bigfoot or Oliver. Not true 4 season, but They can be set up to be warm and have running water down to at least 10F as long as you have electricity. We have camped dozens of nights with multiple days in the low teens at night and never getting above freezing. They are better built than Scamp or Casita, but they are not Oliver quality.

I have been RVing for 50 years in cheap trailers, expensive trailers, and in a Bigfoot. These are really way above average trailers. Unfortunately they have gone up 20% in the past 2 years.

We got this trailer new in October 2021 and have 170 nights on it and leave in a couple of weeks for another 60 day trip. I bought the Ranger specifically to tow this trailer.

This best meets our needs as far as what’s available in the RV world. They all have pluses and minuses. However, fiberglass definitely holds up better.

Their niche is the amount of options they offer. No two Escapes are exactly the same.
