Me currently because the body shop said "Tuesday".

I remember mine telling me on Tuesday they'd get to it by Friday. They just didn't say which Friday and 10 days later they finally did. The accident is bad enough then you have to deal with all the delays. Hang in there it does get better!

I got my truck back .

Unfortunately someone lost their job. This took waaaaay longer than it should have for the damage. There was no body work, just paint and replace parts. Original estimate was a week at most. I was told last week Friday it was ready, (which was already longer than it should have been) great! I had a half day then and my friend was able to drive me there to pick it up, he didn't mind cause his GF is the painter there (who did a fantastic job!! :like:) so he was able to visit for a bit. As soon as I walked to the rear of the truck, I could see it wasn't right . The whole bumper was shifted to the right. I looked at the dude and he literally said "it is what it is". I was like "uh you gonna fix it?" He said they'll have to order parts (because apparently they have to break the clips to get the rear step pad off the bumper ) and it probably will be Monday now. I was like I don't care, I just want it right. Not only was it off centered, there were damaged parts re-used . So why did it take so long? Dude never ordered the parts . Which is what caused the delay the first time. Mine wasn't the only job where they lost money on, so my truck was the last straw for him. The owner who was on vacation during most of all this, was cool, very apologetic, and we had a nice conversation, he understood me, and I understood him. I wasn't mad or irate, I personally feel (in that situation) yelling and screaming does no good and doesn't help anything. Main thing is I got it back, it's right and looks great...except its dirty and needs a bath, which I'll do this weekend :like:.
