That's way to early! But I had to painfully see Annie watching a whole month of Christmas shows on the Hallmark channel
That channel has been banned in my house since, well , forever , you don't monitor/control her TV habits? That can be very dangerous (things tend to end badly for the man on that channel) your gonna need to "confront" her on that ...(get multiple camera angles for our viewing pleasure)
And I have the disclaimer in my signature , so...

Is to much to ask to get past one "holiday" before starting the next!
You need to be the first one in your FaceXGram groups to be ready for the next holiday so you can keep your like count up.

Maybe it's due to a misinterpretation by the marketing folks. As they drive around the residential areas of Anytown, Your Country Here and see all the brown wreaths still on the front door, Christmas light strings dangling off of the rain gutters and the weathered plastic Santas or Rudolphs thrown into the bushes so the lawn can be mowed, they perceive this as folks really like Christmas stuff, so let's sell it half the year!

I have to go back to Amazon now and look for Easter candy. Don't want to be last, you know.
That's a good idea! I want to be sure they don't sell out of Peeps and Candy Corn before Easter starts.

Costco has had Christmas wrapping paper and ribbons since last week of July. At first I thought it was leftovers from 2023. Halloween stuff started appearing right around the 4th of July.

Valentines and Easter candy should be available soon....

So at some point, we'll have the holiday stuff out so early, it'll run into the closeout sale stuff from the last holiday. Then the retailers will have to add on to the store in order to carry merchandise for a dozen holidays year round!

We now have seasons. I was searching my local big box stores for some 4ft fluorescent tubes, and I saw Menards has Halloween stuff out. It's the middle of August fercrineoutloud. Oh, well. Now kids can pick out their Halloween costumes while the get their back-to-school stuff. Halloween has now evolved into a season. Our local greenhouse has their haunted hayrides starting September 28th. Valentines Day is on deck- the heart merch is only out two or so weeks before rather than twelve, which would mean you could get your kids' Valentines cards when you get the stocking stuffers.

They have to stock the shelves with SOMETHING, since they barely carry any real merchandise anymore.

Oh, and too late. At the beginning of August I went with the wife to Hobby Lobby (had to keep the shopping spree in check & remind her that the truck DOES have a MAX payload!), and they had Christmas decorations right next to the Halloween stuff already.
