upTOP TRUSS Bed Rack

upTOP Overland's Ranger Bed Rack hit their website today, a local (who I would I like to thank for doing this with such a great local brand) went and had them custom build this and now they're taking orders on them.
Available in both mid and full Truss height.

That would be very interesting, BUT it looks like you must drill 6 holes in the bed rail on each side. PLEASE correct me if I am wrong. I looked for the directions, but they are not available;able for the Ranger.

Did you end up picking the rack up? If so, which height did you pick up? I'm looking to pick up the Retrax-compatible full height truss, but I've only seen a few pictures on their website of the Ranger, and those few are only for the standard mid height truss. I wish they had pictures of the full height truss on the Ranger, since it's tough to eyeball where it will reach relative to the cab's roof.

Sorry for necro. Any update? Definitely looks to be bolted in which is a bummer as this is the shortest rack i've found so far.

Edit: Shot them an email to confirm. Also offered to drive down for them if they want to take a stab at making a clamp system.

Got a reply. Still got awhile before I even purchase a rack but good to know. Most likely will never take the rack off so its not the end of the world.
