Tremor Leaf Pack on non tremor ranger.

2020 Ranger SC XLT

No solid info on this so I figured I would put it out there.
I took the single leaf (2x4) out and swapped it with some leafs off a Tremor. Somewhere on here a guy said extra 1/2” of lift. He’s not wrong depending on weight in the bed, but certainly not the numbers I got.
Below I will post before and after measurements. Interpret how you wish.
Truck currently has Fox 2.0s in the rear.

Photo 3 (where things get good): stock leaf pack max droop- 25”
*** note shock is removed from bracket although the leaf is the most limiting factor.

Photo 4: Tremor leaf pack max droop 27.75”

1” additional lift
2.75” additional droop

So far, it handles the same on road. A bit softer. Off-road it handles 10x better. Droop allows better traction in uneven terrain. Major increase in off-road drivability. Now it’s somewhat enjoyable-need to do fronts now. I’ll report back on that.

Hey this is awesome - I actually got onto this forum to get this exact question answered today and you frickin' delivered man. I have the same setup with Fox 2.0s and need an extra inch in the rear to better tolerate a medium weight load of around 200-250lbs w/a RTT and some gear. This looks to fit the bill perfectly. What all did you need for the swap? Just the Tremor leaf packs and U-bolts?Also, have you noticed any difference when the leaf packs have settled?

No problem man. Kinda wanted the same thing out of them as you. I ended up switching from the 2.0s to the tremor rear shocks to see if there is a difference. No noticeable change.
I’m currently packing a RTT, bed cover, and about to be a bunch of gear for a scouting trip this weekend. Off-road handling is way better. With some weight in the bed I think it will actually perform better.
I ended up buying and entire tremor setup off a guy for $500. Shout-out to him if he sees this.
Instal wise for the leaf pack is the u bolts. All the other hardware stays with the truck. If you can throw the tremor bumpstops in while the leaf is out, you will have better access. But I didn’t have a stepper bit or self tapping bolts on hand if I broke the factory bolt. I’ll cross the bumpstop bridge another day.
The leaf pack hasn’t settled at all. It has 15k previous miles on it so it should be well settled by now.

You can get the global Ranger Leafs on Ebay from the UK for haft the cost unless you can find some used take offs
