Tilt/telescopic steering column

Let me preface this by saying...I am 39 years old, I am no stranger to figuring things out on my own. I like to work on my truck myself if possible, and I am moderately to very good at research.
I have put 22000 miles on my truck, I bought it in late 2020 August to be more specific, I just recently installed my own level kit, and it went perfectly and I got kudos from the trained mechanic that inspected everything afterwards.

I just figured out that my steering column telescopes. I had assumed that it should on day one, but all it did was tilt. I was disappointed, but figured oh well. 20000 miles later I see a video of a dealer guy going over ranger features, and low and behold, his ranger’s steering wheel telescopes. Apparently I wasn’t using my big boy muscles all this time, with a little force it broke free and now my telescope works as one would expect. I feel silly

I really gave it some thought and figured that it wasn’t designed to for some reason that I wasn’t privy to

@Fastfitzy which model do you have, as Im trying to find column (maybe someone knows product number?) with telescopic feature and then research if it match and possible to replace my non telescopic one ('21 ranger wildtrack 2.0 diesel)
