Take off then stop short

Anyone ever taken off then have to stop short, and then feel like you have been rear ended but no vehicle behind you?

Yes, when i have to stop quick when someone pulls out in front of you.

Actually, feels like getting hit in the rear by another car,

id suggest getting under the ranger, in a safe way- parked brake on etc. and see if you can wiggle around the drive shaft or turn it. its normal to have some movement and wiggle but should not be much.
