I know the normal answer is to extend the link to put the bar at the same angle as stock. I'm about 2.5" of level/lift on the front on my Tremor and was considering extended links. I found a few options that would work but also stumbled across the Dobson links. They claim they have to run a shorter link to keep the lower control arm from hitting the bottom of the link.

I know this is based off their suspension kit but I have a hard time imagining they increased travel that much over kits to require a shorter link. Some kits with a longer travel option like ICON don't shorten them to the best of my knowledge. Anyone smashing there lower control arms with stock length or extended links?

Dobson Links (shortened to 290MM - 11.4") - Don't have mine handy but stock seem to be close to that.

I'm not sure why this needs to be done...unless you're going to the extreme like over 6 inch lift...2.5" level on mine and 130K miles without issues...actually, I'm going to remove the bar entirely since I need flex more than I need drift...

It may not be entirely necessary. I want a stronger link without plastic ends and thought correcting the sway bar geo at the same time would be a plus. The Dobson info has me confused as many (like yourself) haven't had the need to shorten. I guess an adjustable version will allow one to play around with different lengths as long as the window of adjustment is large enough.

I hear you on removing the bar. Disconnects would be a plus. I'm not too concerned on overall travel until I can go with a longer coil over like King and some RCVs.
