Hi All,

Just a quick intro - first off thanks for the ADD!

I finally made my second grownup purchase (after my home) and ordered a 2021 XLT in January, just got the update from the dealer it's in production!

I'm in the great lakes area, work in automotive supply chain, and have owned several rangers in the past (both 97's) one of which I owned for over 15 years and drove from coast to coast!

Going to be looking through the forums here, since while I ordered my ranger with most of what I wanted, I'm on the lookout for info on a dashcam, Tonneau cover, Undercoating, and a way to easily play MP3's without using my phone, along with ideas for hauling kayaks (if there are any better options besides just the bed)

Appreciate any and all insight.

I had a 97 Ranger. Boy are you in for a treat with the new one. At first I missed the old one. Not anymore‼?

Awesome! Thanks everyone. Buying new was tough for me since I've driven used (and mostly older used) cars and trucks my whole life, but with the prices for gently used these days (that article that came out recently was interesting to say the least) going new just seemed like the better value.

Appreciate all of the advice and input so far - lots of good stuff here.

I will try to restrain myself as much as possible, but I get with the farkles, given one of my main sports/hobbies is motorcycling. I've owned two KLR's in the past (including when I lived with friends) and those friends got tired of constantly bringing in motorcycle parts that were seemingly on order every few weeks!

My suggestion is to give your wallet to your significant other. These guys on here love to spend other peoples money on mods. I've abstained from a lot of mods so far, but I grow weaker and weaker by the day. :bandit:
