Two somewhat related questions, hence posting in Main
[ mods: feel free to move to Offroad, etc ]

1) The front air dam improves fuel economy.
FX2 removes the air dam (air dam delete option).
Does anyone know if the air dam can be installed with modification, when a skid place is also in place with an FX package?
I'm willing to remove the air dam before going off-road, and am willing to modify an air-dam.

2) I have a 2021 FX2 on order. Per another thread on FX2, that package comes with some plastic front skid plate lookalike, vs a real plate.
I'll mostly be on pavement, but i will be going some off-road with certainty.

Is there a commonly-recommend front/etc plate set for occasional off-road?
( I apologize if this is too noob a question. I did search the forums. )
It looks like alum/steel combos would work for this.

Main options I've seen are:
a) factory fx4 plates
b) alum/steel combos: eg https://www.shrockworks.com/FRAN5-SKD-pr-16306.html
c) full steel: eg https://www.stage3motorsports.com/5440230-19-21-ranger-arb-uvp-steel-skid-plates.html
