they are actually bolted on there pretty good with tons of loctite. So I’d be scared that would take a few other things with it loll

I know these are on the truck to direct air around the tires for gas mileage and aerodynamics. I wonder just how much difference they really make. The trucks do really look better without. I believe the Ranger Raptor (gen 1 and gen 2) does not have these.

I can’t imagine it’ll make that big of a difference on mileage. But will report back if it’s noticeable!

Looks good! I'm taking mine off when I install my lift.... whenever the deep freeze stops here. Too cold to work on it right now. Lift has been sitting in my garage since November. ?

Ill take the added ground and approach clearance over a minimal reduction in mileage anyday. ?

Like posted above, just a few different size bolts holding them on. Pretty easy to take off once you slide up under the truck and take a look. I pulled mine off when I installed the new intrusion beams and red tow hooks.

I bought my FX4 pre-owned and the gravel deflectors were already removed. I would like to have them back, but I’m way too cheap to order new parts. So…. I’d be happy to pay shipping…

Yea, Im chomping at the bit for nice weather. I went with the 2" FRL.

They are technically air dams...albeit much larger versions of what's been applied to cars in the past few decades...if you look under your sedan, you'll likely see small 1" rubber extensions in front each tires...
