Dave when did you get the hood lights? Do you do much night rock crawling? thanks for all the pictures. Way cool. I still need to get off road with Lucille. There really isn't any places close for me to experiment and learn how to off road here in Oregon.

Thanks Mark, glad you and everyone else liked the pictures and we had a great time! I got the ditch lights a couple years ago right before we left AZ for AR. I had the lights from Jeep so I just needed the dual bracket and I haven't done any night off roading but put them just in case we got stuck out there after dark one night. Plus they look cool. lol :cool:

If you bring your Ranger (instead of your Maverick) down next winter maybe we can go out around here? I know there's trails around here I just have to look into them more to see how they are. I'm always game to go back up to Sedona anytime so keep that in mind.

@AzScorpion , Question:

Do the ditch lights add a lot of wind noise?
None at all and I don't usually have the stereo blasting either. lol

Here's the brackets I got which are very nice and well made.

Here's the dual mount and they have a similar one on Amazon too.

@AzScorpion your truck looks Cactus Grey in those pics lol. Looks like a fun trail too.
You're right it does! lol

Diamondback Gulch is a fun trail and a long one too at almost 5 miles long. I had these maps from when we rented a side x side a few years ago but forgot it when we left that morning. 🤦‍♂️

The ditch lights that I have don't make any wind noise, and that's whether I'm cruising at 55 or 60 mph on the farm market roads or 75 mph on the highway. My 2 cents.

Very nice trip. I’m glad you two got in some great hiking and some off-roading while you were there. The pictures are really amazing.

It’s been a bit of a wild adventure over the past year so you deserve a nice break like this one!

Yeah, It’s been a rough couple years and it feels good to be finally settled down. 😩

We’re planning on traveling more now and even more when Annie retires in 2 more years. We’re looking at getting away this summer most likely up to Flagstaff for a quick getaway from the heat. Then somewhere this winter (maybe Aruba or Dominican) for a month as long as there’s no more crazy wars and prices aren’t too high.

I think I finally have her convinced to go to Thailand (for a month) when she retires. Of course she needs reassurance from others before doing something out of her comfort zone. I have a customer who goes there 4-5 times a year for business and also vacations there with his family because he loves so much there. We met several people on our trip who've been there and told her how nice it was and how much there is to do there. There's a lot of islands around there too you can go to even for just day trips. That's to far off to think about now but something I've been wanting to do and times flys by fast so I'll look into throughout the next year.

Oh, Seeing a Canadians game at home is still high on my bucket list! Preferably a playoff game. lol :wink:
