Salt Flats Were Nice Today

Are the flats open year round? Are there speed limits ever? Inquiring minds, ya know.

I read over the dos and donts. Doesn't appear to close at anytime, and I did not see any speed restrictions while I was there.

It is BLM, so it is public use for the most part.

Yea buddy! Go get it! Utah is such a cool state...10,000 fr elevation in mountains, salt flats, lakes and red rock and sand in south! Way to go get some today! The salt flats have a history of the fastest land speed records...I like your tremor and all the accessories! ?

I think what he is trying to say is that at the end of Bonneville Speedway Road is a cul-de-sac, with nothin' but salt flats, and a few mountains in the distance. And I topped out at my goal of 100 mph, running on mud terrains with a RTT that I think was starting to act as a wing as the steering got very light..

Utah has peaks over 11,000 ft and I’ll be skiing them next week. We’ll be driving out 80 so if weather permits we’ll stop for some photos at the salt flats.
