Any idea what the rear overhang is of the tent off the rack?

11" rear overhang. Although it on tracks so you can adjust everything as needed.

Is the rack tall enough that the whole tent could be pushed forward to the point the front of it is OVER the cab? Or is the 11" overhang required?

14" height so won't overhang front. most likely need 22"+ to clear roof+antenna. The overall length of the tent is less than 5' closed though.

The 18" rack is not tall enough, I had add a roughly 4" sub frame to clear my roof for my platform.

Do you have picks of your set up you could share? I'm looking for a rack that would clear the roof so a tent would be centered, if possible.

I'm afraid besides the RCI bed rack and their panels, my setup is custom fabricated. Your easiest solution is to get an 18" tall rack and simply add some unistrut, or sometimes called superstrut on top of it to give you the extra needed clearance. You can generally get 12 gauge 10' lengths of it from home depot or lowes for $25-30 a pop. That is what my subframe was made from;

MaxModular makes a 22" option. Keep in mind the largest tents are about 6.5' long. Also, most tents are 10-14" tall, so you have about 2ft above cab height. I chose the 14" to keep it slightly lower profile without losing too much bed height.

Do you mind providing a link to the rack? I'd like to know the weight limits and stuff like that before deciding anything.

Edit: nevermind I'm an idiot, I see you gave details on the exact one you have and I have Google, so...

It's the AluMax/Aluminum model as well. That was advised due to being in Colorado where they salt the roads. It is the 14" height, 46" long model, Universal Bed Clips

Just the plain Condor. I wanted to keep it same length as my bed and the XL is over 6' long. Having 5' bed I opted for regular Condor. Still plenty of room for 2 adults + kid/dog.
