I second that, that's why I started a thread on the absurd mistakes in the owner's manual.
Would you believe this nonsense applies to the service manual as well? Take a look at what I've attached here, you'll be surprised to know that your Ranger has rear drum brakes as depicted.
It's obvious that this is a cut & paste job because it clearly applies to global models, look at the revision date.
