So, I ordered up a bed cover, and when I finished installing, the rear end of the bed rails had near 3/8" gap between the truck bed and rail end. I reached out to Retrax, and they let me know that the design of the bed drops toward the rear.
I put a four foot level on the bed rail, and was surprised to see that it does indeed drop. To be clear, the Retrax cover functions well. Disappointed in the aesthetics. I can't find any representative pictures on the internet that shows a gap like this. Was told to have a helper press down while tightening the clamps, which I did.
