Hi.

Can anyone help with removal of the silver front valance (which holds the central 2 front parking sensors) on a 2020 wildtrak (UK model)?

I need to fix a crack (from behind) and respray it. I have already removed the 8 bolts that hold on the lower 'soft' black plastic valance and the black valance itself. I have also removed the six torx bolts that seem to hold the lower edge of the silver valance. The bottom of the silver valance now seems loose but the top seems firmly attached. What do I need to do next? There do not seem to be any obvious fixings I have missed. Are there some hidden clips?

Thanks.

I don’t think it comes off separate to the rest of the front bumper
Could be wrong though

It does come off without removing the whole bumper. But if I remember correctly you need to take the lower grill (the one with the big hole in it)off with it. It's been over a year since I had mine apart to replace the lower grill and paint my silver valance black. I've slept a few times since then.

Yes, I think the lower grille looks promising and I have reached in and undone a couple of torx bolts (one each side) and lower grille now moves to some extent relative to the main grille. If it suddenly comes back to you please shout. Fed up for now so going to leave it alone for a while. ?

Did you remove the 5 push pins at that attach the lower grill to the upper? May be a couple hex head screws near the center that are used to hold the license plate holder if you have one.

There are no push pins I can see holding lower grille to upper grille. As I said I removed a torx at each end and can now push lower grille backwards relative to the upper grille. The lower grille still seems firmly attached to the silver valance. I removed the number plate (2 cross heads) and the 2 x 8mm bolts behind it that hold the number plate mount but can't see that it makes any difference.
