I was on the fence about wheels.

Today's deals made me pull the trigger on a set of Ranger Spec Icons Compressions

https://www.stage3motorsports.com/ICON-Vehicle-Dynamics.html?Vehicle/Ranger

If you add the Titanium or Bronze Compressions they are on sale for $193 each AND buy 3 get 4th free.

$550 for a full set of Ranger spec'd compressions grey or bronze.

Hope that helps other fence sitters!

That’s a great deal... already spent my Black Friday budget with Stage 3 today so I better wait!

Robert, put all 4 in your cart and you should get a rebate for one.

What did you end up purchasing?!
I went with some Eibach stuff and a set of Bora wheel spacers! I’m also going to order a set of RokBlokz either tonight or tomorrow and possibly a Raptor grille.

I personally like the badge delete grill that Rogue Offroad has.https://www.rogue-offroad.com/product-p/48002000.htm

Just throught I'd throw that out there as I see the Raptor grille everywhere and honestly, not a fan. Ford made me pay a lot of money for this vehicle, I don't especially feel like being a billboard advertisement for them.

Thanks, I did see that option and it does look good. I actually prefer the Lariat grille over the Raptor one but my wife likes the Raptor grille the best. It’s her truck as much as it is mine, and I picked everything else out so we’re going to order one for her!

Wish I didn't spend a good chunk of change on 32 inch tires for my OE 18" wheels, a few months back. I would be on a set of those Icon is a heartbeat. Hope to find a deal like that when I'm back in the market again. Would like to find a nice set of mild offset wheels.

I plan on getting the icon compression with falken 285/70/17, eibach suspension kit, will I have problems rubbing?

Hi Rob,

It depends on how aggressive you go with your offset. You will have rubbing no matter what offset you go with, as for the Icon wheels look to be at least 35mm further negative in offset and wider than the OE wheels. I would recommend looking into a set of aftermarket crash bars because you will most definitely be rubbing on them. I'm going to be installing a set of Fabtechs soon, which are made out of 3/16~1/4" plate. I'm not a big fan of people trimming them and/or removing them.

That's all I really know from my personal experience. Search through this forum because I'm more than sure this has been covered a few time here and there.

Hope that sets you off to a good start! Enjoy your project!

I run Goodyear Wrangler ultraterrains in the same size on an icon suspension/icon wheels ranger. I had to go fabtech crash bars on my setup, but the wrangler ut's size out as a large 33 (actually 33.2 diameter), so depending on your falken actual diameter, you may be able to get away wtihout trimming and just loosening and adjusting the crash bars. Hope this helps

Mike
