I agree there are a lot of TOYS on Amazon but did you watch the video I linked? That car took an incredible bashing that I doubt I'll ever give it and all that happened was some body damage and cracking of some of the wheels. If I do break it and can't find parts I could just buy another one just for parts at that price point. I figure this one will let me see if I want to continue with the hobby again and if I do I've already seen some nice Traxxas trucks I'd like to get.?

No I didn't, but some of our club members have purchased from Amazon have have been disappointed. My advice is to buy what looks good to you and just have fun with it.

The RC10 was a great car. It was my second RC car. only because it had not hit the market before I bought the Tamiya Frog. My first on road car was the Associated RC12.

You are so right but I think you'd be surprised at how this Hosim 1:16 did with a real bashing run at a skate park sustaining minimal damage. It was like a Timex it just kept on ticking.?

Back in the day I had a 1st generation RC10, Gold aluminum pan. Loved it! that was the best one I had before I lost interest.

I know right where mine is, in a box in the basement. The last time I used it was over 20 years ago. I just can't let it go. =)

Went down and took some pics of mine sitting on a shelf in the basement.

The savage 25 was good for 57 mph, the Emax has super low gears and a couple sets of giant tires for sand and the savage is stock. Haven't been used since my granddaughter and I hit my wife with one 15years ago. I blamed my wife for being in the yard about 500 feet away watching us have fun but that didn't set well. That Emax was $600 plus batteries and charger when it was released. Guess I do own an EV.

as some have said you get what you pay for... traxxas breaks super easy if you want a good basher thats fast get arma, you want to race get anything other then traxxas but stay away frim hpi... ummm trying to remember all the brands lol its been awhile since ive messed with em


atm i have a
traxxas slash 2wd backslash conversion brushless and geared to hit 90mph(broken),
2wd slash basic-brushed that was setup to be slow for my buddies daughter to play with when we went camping (broken),
slash platinum 4x4-converted into a truggy- custom long travel all new links and regeared to hit 90mph(also broken),
traxxas 4tec-bought to race and ended up not racing since the class was closed... then geared it to hit 100mph and smashed it into a storm drain (also broken),
axial scx10 honcho(since changed no longer the honcho body)-rock crawler full upgraded with new axles links gears new steering setup just about anything you can buy for one but electronics (still need to do that) plus a custom 1st gen toyota pickup body from rc4wd that was bobed and dove nosed love that body!,
axial scx10 ii kit Cherokee- full built kit with lots of upgrades internally and with a really good electronics setup the truck weighs a good bit since it was setup for comps but never used it lol also has a toyota pickup body with the old honcho cage
,vatera twin hammers buggy- bought it because it was cool upgraded the suspension and never used it lol,
exc amp buggy- was a old friends rc that i was rebuilding for him then he passed away so i fully rebuilt it with the best parts i could find and painted a new body for it and was told to keep it so now it sits on a shelf

Forgot to take pics last night but I have two photos showing two of my trucks one is the scx10 that has the custom hardbody I did and the other is the exc amp buggy (sorry only photos I have are when I was workin in my office) I’ll take others tonight
