Ahh I see, yeah I used the y adaptor and all and noticed 1 light was unplugged and it worked just fine, so when all three were plugged up I would hear a click after a few seconds and side markers and grille lights shut off I know its the lights and it must be outputting more than the side can handle, im new to this kinda stuff, maybe get someone who knows all that mess to hook it up like that, miss the good ol days with older vehicles being so easy hahah thank you man! Like my old s10, can take the truck down to bare bones with a handful of tools haha

Seems like some of these light sets are drawing too much current to use the side marker circuit.

Were your lights designed for the Ranger or universal? Do you have a link?

Came with the grille, the y adaptor I got from a shop in NY but the lights and grille are definitely a knock off, can swear it's from China, the light wires had the horseshoe bit on it, surely for the battery but they seemed small, overall is a decent imitation, I swear you can put u.s. only on ebay and it don't matter hahaha, guess that's why it was like mmm maybe 60 to 70 bucks cheaper

I had the exact same problem everyone else is having with these aftermarket raptor grille LEDs.
Whenever I would start my truck the side marker & LEDs would power on but usually turn off after 15-30 seconds. Sometimes they'd stay on for the whole drive or sometimes cut off in the middle of the drive. ?‍♂
I don't think that the grille's LEDs are the problem but that they're drawing too much power to be installed at the side markers as suggested in the instructions.

I fixed the issue by wiring the grille's LEDs directly into the headlight. I wanted the LEDs to work in sync with the side marker/day time running lights. Which ended up being the Green/Orange wire and ran the ground to the battery since it's right there.

They've been working perfectly for months now. ?
