My go to company for vinyl lettering work for past couple of years either did one of the two (new name, etc etc).
1. They removed the option for the customer to weed and tape their own vinyl. This means the letters are cut out in the vinyl, but you supply your own masking tape to transfer and you have peel out the extra vinyl on your own. This sometimes dropped the price as much as 1/3 and it takes like 1 extra minute of work to get it ready to use.
2. The biggest WTF is their pricing algorithm now. Fine, I can't get it the cheap way I like, but someone explain this insanity to me: (I've sent them an e-mail with this screenshot asking if something is busted or working as intended)
