I confirmed an odd occurrence tonight. I swore I've heard random chiming and whirring from my truck, usually after I get out and lock it and have walked away. Sort of like when you do a remote start, fuel pump whirs, truck chimes and then starts. I though maybe it was just the truck shutting down or I hit a button on the key. It has happened when I've approached the truck too and I swear I hadn't hit the key.
Tonight I was in the garage, truck in the driveway keys in the house, phone in the house, and the truck chimes a few times and the whirring happens, then nothing. It stops.
It's an XLT so no fob. No lights flashed outside. I wasn't close enough to see if any dash lights were on. I haven't driven it since Saturday.
It is close enough to connect to the home wifi. Wonder if it was checking in or getting an update?
Anyone else experience something similar?
