Hi everyone,

Anyone have recommendations on ramps to get wheeled vehicles into the Ranger bed? Primarily I’d be using them to get a relative’s mobility scooter (pretty heavy duty for a scooter, ~400lbs) and a heavy duty snowblower onto the bed.

Haven’t done this with a truck before (only a trailer) so any recommendations on length, style, brand etc would be super helpful!

I haven’t used any in my Ranger yet but with previous trucks I’ve had good luck with the curved, folding types.

mine are slightly curved and fold. made from space age aluminium.
they do my lawn tractor easily, but at 8 feet its a little steep still
if i drive it up, it feels like it wants to wheelie over on me.
so most times i just push it up by hand. (I dont have a tailgate damper either)
Well there you go, if you had the damper it would eliminate the wheelie effect:LOL::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:

I agree with the curved or arched ramps. Had mine quite awhile. Don’t recall brand. Mine came in 3 separate ramps that fold. Are pinned in the middle to assemble them. It’s a big steel rod with an L on it. You can’t beat them for motorcycles. I loaded a full dresser onto my F150 with it. If it scares the shite out of you to go up narrow straight ramps, these are the answer. Because you can basically put your feet down too.
