Quick Easy MOD?

I bought some brighter fog light bulbs for my Ranger, and had a difficult time reaching the plug. I ended up removing the lower bumper valences to get at the socket, and I ended up liking having the valences removed. The only item I had to add to complete this mod was 4 rubber washers (2 each side) to take up the gap left between the removed valence and inner bumper plastic.

Quick update, I ended up removing the four washers and screws (it started to warp the plastic). I think I am going to try a couple of those tree/barb plastic push pins, and push it through the threaded hole. I have seen a few Rangers on this forum that have done this valance removal, and was wondering what you did to get past this issue?
(3D printed spacer, cut piece of rubber, cut the part off the original valence?)
