I've read some threads but have a strange question. I'm running 265/70/17 on standard rims, I went to replace rotors and a bad caliper on rear and it looks like there are 1/4" cheap stud slip on spacers on it. Is there a need for those? I don't think they're standard are they?? I bought the truck used, and thought maybe previous owner left them. 2019 Ranger STX with a slight vibration issue and wondering if they're the cause.

Well, IMO, the style you have was put on just for looks. (wheel poking out further) However, slipping them on over the factory wheel studs lessen the number of threads fastening the wheel on.
Safety wise, I wouldn't have them. What I did was install high quality 1" spacers that bolt to the flange and have their own wheel studs. I wanted the look also and very pleased the way it turned out. No issues in 5 years. To each their own.
