Yeah but you can use the FP tuner to reset to stock. All the smog guy will see is that there was some activity, but they won't have any clue as to what that was. Again speaking hypothetically, of course.

Yeah I get what you mean and could always flash it back once I have the tune, but I can't get the tune in the first place because Ford won't release it to my vehicle when I connect because it's VIN locked since my truck is registered in California.

I agree this part does nothing but add a little style. I was hoping it would help keep intake air temps a little cooler in the summer but nope, not even that. I figured if anything it will look cool so I purchased it.

Really, no different than a lot of other parts for vehicles. I mean, often wheel purchases are for cosmetic reasons and often do not add a performance benefit (sure they can if buying some wheel models). Or red tow hooks? Funny ford charges more for red ones, no idea red paint cost more than blue. Just a way to add a little style.

Truck looks great man. Understand the towing, haven't towed a big big trailer yet with mine. Might have to get me some of those lights, I like the look.
