I have a 2022 fx4 check engine light just came on po171 code any thoughts just hit 25k.

This code is one of the most difficult to T-Shoot as there are a number of variables that can trigger it. (Sys Lean) so PCM is adding Fuel to compensate.
You can view freeze frame data and note anything that stands out (this is a snapshot) of the PID data at the time the code was triggered.

Most generally this boils down to a vacuum leak (unmetered) air - or too much air over fuel

You could reset the code and see if it returns and also burn off at least 1/2 tank of gas - as bad gas is another possibility and fill up.

If the code is persistent then it needs a Live Data monitor to assist in pinpointing down Vac Leak, Fuel Delivery, PCV or EVAP issue or a lazy O2 sensor.
For the visual inspection - ensure all hose and tubing (air induction) is secure and the air filter is clean.
