Top photo is my soon to be ex 2017 Winning Blue PX2 XLS with accessories.

Bottom photo is my new MY 21.25 Aluminium Silver PX3 XLS Sport awaiting delivery. I will be swapping wheels over from the 2017 to the 2021 Ranger. Then the new build-up begins!

This is a great idea. We were in Vietnam a few years ago on vacation, and you would be surprised how many Rangers we say on the roads there. I did not think to take any pictures at the time, but I will in future. Guys, be sure to identify the country when you upload the images!

Just for fun, here is a Vietnamese-language YouTube video I found on oto.com.vn [oto=Ă´-tĂ´ =auto, get it?] that reviews the new Ranger Wildtrak. And, yeah, the new Ranger is a steal at only only 918 million (piasters):

The new Ranger with Toyo tyres (tires) fitted. Very happy with the upgrade from the PX2. A little quieter, and suspension is less harsh, even when empty compared with the previous aftermarket suspension. It makes it much more pleasant to drive.

The plastics inside are now black on the "Sport" model which looks better than the lighter grey that the XLS has. Strangely, the 6 speed auto shift seems smoother as well.

I wrongly assumed that items such as Redarc brake controller would be a direct swap but this is not the case as the PX3 has AEB so a new wiring loom is needed. Worthwhile anyway as it was easy to fit up.

An ARB canopy is on order and should be fitted at the end of February.

I was in Australia couple of months ago, in Sydney and Adalaide SA, the first 4 pics are in Australia and the last one is mine back here in the US. I was able to ride in a Aussie WildTrak. Australia is a beautiful place love the people and place out there.

So I have added some new bits to the Ranger including the ARB canopy ARB bull bar, Narva lights and Warn 9.5 XP winch. Looking more like my previous PX2 Ranger now.

Victoria Police is replacing its fleet of Holden Colorado divisional vans with Rangers (Holden/GM ceased sales in Australia about 2-3 years ago)

They are XLT supercabs with the 3.2L diesel, guessing they went with this engine to clear Ford's stocks as it is now end-of-life for the Ranger. Some of the Colorados in rural areas had bullbars due to the extraordinary number of kangaroo strikes so it will be interesting to see what they do for frontal protection on the Ranger.

Thanks for posting this very cool picture and story. (Is there such a thing as "aftermarket kangaroo bars" in Australia?)

Yep there are plenty of manufacturers here, quite similar to the steel bumpers you guys have except with the steel hoops to protect the headlights and radiator griller.

Ford offer a factory one so I'm guessing they would probably use that
