Odor of melting plastic from defrost.

Someone in that post said it is lithium grease. I think I will try running it on high fan/high heat with engine running for an hour or so while its parked in my driveway. Maybe it will burn off.....I've never ran it more than a couple of minutes(enough to defrost) because it smells so bad.
