New Rims

Ok I ordered the rubber today. Cooper AT3 4S. Get them installed on next Thursday. SWEET! I probably won't be able to sleep until then LOL! However I am debating on the size. 265/65R17 or 265/70R17. There is a 8# difference in the two tires??? 98% of my driving is local so I an leaning on the 65's. I did order the 70's and am waiting on the sales guy at Discount Tire to call me back.

Ok what do you all think of these for my Ranger? I like the blue but it is a different blue from the Ford blue? My tow hooks up front are the Ford blue ones now. What about the offset on these. They say these will fit my ride but they are 0 offset? Thanks for your opinions!!!

personally id get them the wheels are a lot darker then you think they are so without direct lighting they look black but when the light hits they pop in a very pretty blue i have the 701s in blue

Thanks Jacob, Too late however as I bought the Ranger Raptor rims a few weeks ago and the tires today. Could you post a picture of your Ranger with those Rims?

ah no worries! i didnt look all the way through the thread haha the raptor wheels are nice but for me personally id change the color but thats me

and sure method 701s in bahia blue as you can see its a darker color but when the sun hits it pops buuuut

when the light isnt directly hitting them they look either a really dark dark blue or almost black

by far one of my personal favs for a wheel for looks and performance with the bead grip tech in it plus the offset in color isnt to crazy where its a subtle pop unlike my old truck with its brushed gold wheels haha man those wheels were pretty thou!

soooo i love accent colors but this blue might not work well with cactus grey tbh... now if you can match a photo of my truck (meaning angle) i can talk to a buddy and see if he can photoshop my wheels on your truck so you get an idea to see if the color will look right. for me personally cactus would look good with gunmetal or polished/machined and maybe bronze? i know if you want a really different color white would offset extremely well buuuut then you have to clean them all the time

hey that looks good i dig it! tbh i never would have guessed it would look good on it! but i like it! i will say that first one looks like they made it brighter since ive seen two sets of bahia blue and none of them are that bright.

and ya sadly gunmetal or black seems to be the norm with cactus... wish people would just change it up already!

Phil what color is your fender trim? If it's the Magnetic and not the black these rims would look great on your Ranger. Where in Oregon are you? Beaverton for me by Washington Square mall.

Is your Ranger a 2 or 4 wheel drive ? Asking cause your profile doesn't say. Mine is a 2, and I'm trying to gauge what my 2 wheel drive would look like with the 265/65 or the 265/70 would look like.
