New set of Method Roost 18" +18 offset rims with BFG Trail-Terrain 275/65R18 rubber. Very quiet and the extra sidewall gives a very comfortable ride compared to the stock Hankooks. Speedometer is now +1 MPH when using GPS to check actual speed. I compared the weights using a digital bathroom scale. 65.5lbs for the stock Lariat rims with the Hankooks that are worn 4/32". The new setup is 71.6 lbs. If weighing the stock setup with brand new tires I bet its only a 5lb or less difference. I bought a 5th wheel and tire to replace the spare.
The only rubbing I had was the cover on the front crash bar. I removed the plastic cover, loosened the bolts and pushed them 1/4" forward and solved that problem. Truck has a Fox 2.0 setup with the fronts cranked to just under a 3" lift (As high as I could go while maintaining the ability to keep proper alignment using the stock UCA). Because of the weight of the gear and the DECKED drawers, I added an Eibach 1" lift to the rear to level things out.
I chose the Trail Terrains over the KO's for the weight savings because light off-roading, and snow is as aggressive as I get. The quieter, more comfortable ride was more of a priority. Has great overall ratings except for on road dry and wet performance. It's been dry here in the northwest for months so I can only comment that they perform well for me in dry conditions. We'll have to wait for the rainy season to see how they do in the wet.
