Hello to all ,

New member here and started
the buying process and then put the
brakes on when this Covid thing hit
the fan.
The local dealer has an xlt super cab FX4 for $38500. This has the Ford lend a hand $1750 credit. I don’t want or need the FX4 pkg so I’m going to offer $37000. What do you think? A note to US
members, the Xl starts at $32000
In Canada
and includes 4x4. Appreciate any comments thanks.

Is it the vehicle you want with all the features you're looking for, and the color you prefer?

If not, might be worth broadening your search. It's possible to have your local dealer get a vehicle from another dealership, but definitely worth shopping around a bit, especially during the current circumstances. I found dealer pricing varied quite a bit, I always asked for out-the-door cash price for an easier way to compare apples to apples.

I don't really have much experience with the XLT prices, but choices for SuperCabs are generally a bit more limited. Have you looked into 2019 models?

I paid 40k out the door for a k2 special edition with 15k in upgrades
