The Mickey Tompson ,Wild Peaks and the Cooper Discoverer Rugged Treks , are all what they are now calling a hybrid tire... all share the deep center tred with an all terrain design , combined with a wide lug and rugged outer tred and side wall of a M/T ....I Have had the Cooper Rugged Trek on my truck since April ...255 /70 R18 ..a 45 lbs XL rated 32" tire that has handled every thing I have put it through , aired down crawling on sharp fractured limestone. soft desert sand, all the twisty Ozark roads, inch an hour rain storms , and recently 5" snow first tracks on my rural home road....they hold and throw alot less pea gravel than the stock Hankook ATM , or General Grabber...road noise is alot less than most all terrains...Really happy with my choice, I bought them right after their release before any consumer reviews were on the web...no white side walls , but you do have a choice of inner or outer sidewall pattern ...I chose Mountain peaks out..
