if you got room to store one, I love my 5x8 compound V nose single axle enclosed trailer.

Keep you eyes open for a small used trailer. Easier to load/unload by yourself and you'll end up using it for other things also. I found this one on Craigslist for $400 and customized it for my purposes.

Leave tailgate on, carabiners in the tailgate latches, tiedowns from carabiners to footpegs to pull the tallgate up as far as you can.
The Ranger has the smallest latches ever. I haven't come across a good set of tie downs small enough to fit in them so I had to use carabiners.
