So I took Z on his first long trip, 6 hours out and then 6 hours back across 3 states in the mountains. He drove beautifully and I got a few head turns and my one friend did the usual and thought it was an F150 (No sir. You are incorrect!). I use Android Auto primarily for sound and this was no exception. On the way out I had no issues but on the way back I lost Android Auto twice. I can't be 100% positive, but it seemed like the USB cable was loose or possibly the USB in the dash. The second time I thought I had hit a large bump when it happened. The cable is a new Aukey braided cable and it feels like it's connecting on both ends and I kept charging but the problem was I had to turn off the truck in order to get AA to re-connect. Switching USB ports didn't re-activate it. So far it hasn't happened but I though I'd post it up just in case.

Peace

I sometimes get the same on my iPhone. My phone will switch back and forth from charging to not every second or two. If you're having issues, hold the power button and skip forward button at the same time until the radio resets.

Thank you. I shall keep that in mind if it pops up again. So far, it's still working as normal.
