Came out of Walmart and found this Raptor next to my Ranger… I never realized how much wider they are!

I wonder if on a Raptor forum somewhere someone posted the same pic about how they parked next to a Ranger.

Also, here I am parked next to some sweet...gas pumps.

Metal walls on buildings are common for gas stations, warehouses, some stores, on buildings on industrial areas even if they have offices in them. You can see such solutions a lot in here. Not common for living houses.

These walls are fine! I’ve seen much, much worse and not one or few spots on the wall but from one side to another in full length.

Not my Ranger… but I saw this nice one parked up at Buck Canyon Overlook in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. I’m driving a pretty nice rental Ford Expedition on vacation.

These three "street buggies" parked across from me today; sadly, the drivers were no where in sight when I came out, so I didn't get the chance to get the story on them.

Parked next to this nicely set up Lariat at Porter’s Concrete in Lucknow on the way to the cottage. If that’s your Ranger, yeah, I’m that guy who was in the parking lot today scratching around in the gravel taking pictures. ?

I knew they were big, but I was still surprised when I got close.

Also I didn't hear any terrible noises, see any birds slaughtered or feel like my soul was being ripped out of my body.

There are a crap ton of these up by the cottage. The wind from the west off Lake Huron is fairly reliable. Lots of controversy and angst over these but they really are very big, impressive installations. I questioned the bird strikes and my brother said the tips of the wings are moving at about 200 mph. Pfft, I said, without considering the math.

Early the other evening, the sun was low and just at the right angle and I could see the shadow of the blade of one sweeping down over the front of a farm house and across the road in front of me and man, it was moving - fast! I guess he was right.

But, yeah, didn’t see any birds slaughtered. ?
