Relocated the front license plate bracket where the big gaping hole is above lower valance. Now I don’t need to add Putco valence insert and front end looks a lot cleaner. I don’t have adapted cruise control so it works for me. All you have to do is flip the bracket and screw it in the same holes. I got off what was the lower tabs to put license plate frame on
Feel nice and secure

I like the look. Especially for a light colored truck.

Only down side is it's blocking air flow to the intercooler. I'm guessing that's why Ford mounted it higher.

That's what I was thinking. It does look a ton better Eric. Have you had any overheating issues?

Just did it but I think it will get plenty of air. I think the reason they did it was because that’s where the adaptive cruise control sensor goes if you have that. Probably half the size of a license plate so not expecting any issues

Looks nice there. Sadly those of us with adaptive cruise cannot do this unless the radar is relocated.

Question
About how big is that radar unit. And if you could remove your license plate there are no holes to fill. So you still get the cleaner look. But that depends on your laws in your state I see a lot cars here that don’t have front plate
