I have a 2021 Lariat with the LED lights. I noticed the amber turn signal bulbs are a dual filament, meaning turn signals and what I assume would be parking lights.
Yet I cant find a situation when the amber parking light illuminates, if you select parking lights on the switch the fender bulbs and the DRL's light up in the front. But no amber bulbs in the headlight area.
I have tried turning off the DRL feature, no change.
So it seems the only thing the amber bulbs do is turn signal. yet they are clearly a dual filament bulb. I noticed this because I bought a set of LED replacements and they are single element. I was thinking that if I use the replacements I lose parking lights, but I cant seem to find a time when they would come on anyway!
does anyone know if or when they might light up ?

On my new 2021 Lariat when turning on the parking lights only the DRL, side marker lights in the front and the tail lights are lit, no amber parking lights in the front. I find this interesting.

Lariats don't have the wiring for parking lights. But for some reason come with the dual filament bulb. I discovered this when I swapped my XLT lights for Lariat.
Not ony are the wires not there but the socket also only has 2 contacts vs 4 in my XLT .

Thanks Mike, you are correct, I went out this morning and sure enough, they only wire the plug for one filament. They must use the same bulb across the platform to keep inventory simple.
Either way I dropped in a set of the crazy bright LED lights as suggested here someplace and they are incredibly bright! and they work just fine, no change in flash speed. People will know I am turning now !!
