Looks like you did a perfect job in achieving flush to your flares imo. Thanks for posting as this helps me confirm a 295 tire on a +1 offset 17x9 should accomplish the same (I hope!). I plan on RTR flares but should be close to same as rough country says these are 1.75" coverage and RTR is 1.5" I've been on the fence with +1 vs -12 for about 3 months now and have scoured this forum..lol
It all worked for me I’m no pro at this , I do appreciate this site and all you folks opinions. Thanks !

I'd suggest before you make that purchase you play in https://tiresize.com and check the offset calculator if you haven't already. It's a fantastic tool.
Here’s mine:

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I've played around with a few of these tools and know the wheel specs inside and out. I think what's making it difficult is looking at all the various pics on here and seeing what looks to be different results from the same setups (and the same result from different setups lol). I suspect it is probably due to differences in tire brands and slightly different camera angles. I tend to overthink these things and will soon just pull the trigger.

Yes I agree, it took me three months to make a final decision.
I went with +30 wheels because I didn't want to use spacers to clear the knuckles, nor did I want too much wheel protruding. I used the offset calculator in there to determine what was going to be the best fit in my opinion. Two reasons were having to deal with inspection in Germany, and the wheel spray all down the sides of a platinum white truck. I have about 1/4 outside the flares and have since added the factory mud guards due to the spray.
