There’s a lot of truth in this meme. I’ve always found it curious how many octogenarians there were at the grocery store on the weekend. Now that I’m retired, I have to remind myself it’s Saturday and I should stay the heck away from the grocery store.

Several of us ORF's (Old Retired Fart's) actually get up early a couple of times a week and meet at Bojangles for breakfast and sit around talk "oldie stuff" and spin tall tales bout past work and military service. Hit the gym a few times a week....keeps me busy.

I've been reluctant to post pictures of the new house knowing he'll probably figure out where it is. We don't like the inside or outside colors so that's an easy fix and will start on the inside as soon as we're there. For now (God I hope there's no bread crumbs here) here's the view we have from the master bedroom and back patio of the Santa Rita mountains.

I find that mornings around 8-10 am are the best. Most commuters are already at work and the soccer moms are still at their yoga classes so the stores are pretty empty. The shelves are well stocked and you can get the nice fresh produce because it hasn't been sitting out there all day be touched by everyone.
