It is simple. Drive 300-500 highway mile in one day. Returns all to normal. Really shouldn't be this way.

This is my town car. 10-15 miles a day. I use the van for long drives. Better for sightseeing and has a toilet.

First car in 50+ years I've had to drive a lot or use a charger or maintainer to keep the battery charged.

Ford truly dropped the ball on this one and they will never admit it.
that they did, while in theory the concept of regen charging is a good one it only works effectively for certain operating conditions. SW has been around a long time that can modify functions based on differing variables - we see that in the intelligent oil monitor and tranny in the Ranger, a good system design could monitor vehicle usage patterns, battery condition and adjust the SOC setting accordingly. But I suspect this all is influenced by attaining a high mpg rating in epa testing and avoiding anything that may negatively impact the rating. If that premise is incorrect then the engineer who designed the BMS should be terminated.

Replaced my battery with AGM from Costco. ASS stats working and message gone from screen. Reset BMS. The problem is I still lose radio preset. The longer truck is off the greater chance this happens.

At first SXM reverts to the ID channel instead of last channel it was on. Presets still there and work fine. Refreshed signal. This AM after 15 hours off it defaulted to AM which I never use.

Ideas?

That is a known problem with the last version of SYNC that came out during the summer. I had this exact same issue until I updated to the latest version of SYNC that came out just recently.
