I'm sure there are a lot of members affected by the storm. Hopefully everyone is safe and sound. I didn't get called up for this one personally but Illinois is on our way.

Man that’s a lot of equipment. Glad to know it’s there for circumstances like this.
Illinois MABAS Task Force 1. They are self-sustaining heavy urban search and rescue, swift water rescue, and just about every type of technical rescue you can imagine. They're doing a two-week stint. Most states have similar teams ready for this type of thing.

Funny you mentioned that. Our emergency management response teams we’re using our massive parking lot today for training exercises. Had dogs, mobile boats, 4 wheelers and paramedic teams set up a triage and then placed victims placed around the business park. One by one they would use teams to go run a scenario and then review. Went on all day.
