Hum/droning noise at 70+ mph

I think I may know what sound you are talking about. I bought my ranger used and do notice it while cruising at certain speeds or when throttle is at certain positions.

I just thought it was this TSB...so far I'm not really concerned about it. I just think it's a weird quirk of the truck.

mine does that also but im pretty sure it is tire noise. the sound changes with speed and seems perfectly in time with the tires rolling. maybe check your tires out, check pressure and tread wear.
