How do I get rid of old text messages in car play?

Apple Car play showing old text messages that aren’t on my iPhone they have very old dates???? There is no messages on my iPhone ( bc I have a habit of deleting all messages from my iPhone once read. ) yet there appeared at least 10 messages on my CarPlay screen on the messages app that are very old and have been delete from all my other devices Message app.
I would appreciate any help on this matter.

After a extensive google search most of the morning I did find a way to get rid of most of text message..
* Tap message
* say “ Test message do not reply”
* then hit send
* then go to message on iPhone delete Message gone from Apple car play!!
* the only thing it didn’t work for was “group messages” So when I try above process Siri said “ your no longer part of this Group message any longer“. So if anyone has the work around for this part Of delete A group text message in Apple carplay please let me know.

Your iphone really doesn't delete messages. I learned this because I use a program called iMazing for backups and such. But this page should help you decide what action to take.
