This is very accurate!

I had a CJ7 for years.

Got stupid and sold it.

I bought a brand new JK Wrangler in 2017 because I decided it was time for a new Jeep.

Got rid of it in less than 2 years.

It was a better Car but it was not a better Jeep.

Now I have a Wrangler TJ and it is the perfect blend of Jeep and acceptable livability (it's not my DD)

One of my favorite features of the CJ7 was the totally unexpected and unpredictable moment when the center of the soft top would pop out of the windshield header at highway speed, creating an awesome ram air cold air intake for the cabin.

Tons of fun on winter mornings after you just got the cabin to the point where you could no longer see your breath.

Edit: Found a pic of the old girl.

Sounds like you're telling me that I should go back to grabbing the $1.50 1/4 pound hotdog and soda on the way out for the ride home. They come in a paper bag that may give me a couple extra years 🤔.
Just don't ask what's in that hot dog.
