The Costco chicken bags have been through many tests trying to prove this before implementing. Same result each time with no contamination. They spent years developing that bag. Even if it's bad for you, I think smoking 2 packs a day for over 30 years was far worse for my body or even getting a mouthful of leaded gas often when stealing gas with a siphon hose during the poorer days. According to California, 303 fumes are also hazardous to your health 😬.
Yes but Costco only recently changed their bags because they were harmful. I don't care one way or another because I don't eat them because they're WAY to salty for me I'm just repeating what I've read and seen. Yeah I guess after 30 years of smoking I wouldn't be to concerned with some microplastics either. lol

This is per Yahoo's summery results.

Concerns exist regarding the safety of Costco's rotisserie chicken bags.
Recent changes have led Costco to switch from hard plastic containers to flexible plastic bags for their rotisserie chickens. While the new bags are designed to hold hot items safely, some customers have raised concerns about potential chemical exposure from the bags, particularly regarding phthalates that may leach into the food.

Chemical Exposure Risks
  • Experts warn that the hot chicken placed directly in plastic bags could lead to hormone disruptions due to chemicals like polyethylene terephthalate.
  • Customers have reported issues with the bags being greasy and prone to leaking, which raises further safety concerns.
Recommendations
  • It is advisable to remove the chicken from the plastic packaging as soon as possible to minimize exposure.
  • Costco has not issued recalls for the rotisserie chicken, but ongoing customer feedback suggests vigilance is necessary.
And what da ya mean 303 fumes are bad for you

Sounds like you're telling me that I should go back to grabbing the $1.50 1/4 pound hotdog and soda on the way out for the ride home. They come in a paper bag that may give me a couple extra years 🤔.
