that is so true... I had a GP moment recently. saw a pair of shoes on sale really cheap. been marked down more than once. mostly due to others not willing to stoop so low. for 15 bucks and free shipping i figured id wear them to mow the lawn and work on the truck, not care when they were trashed. they are goofy ugly off brand foamy plastic ish shoes. the kind i would have made fun of others for wearing immediately. after wearing them 2 days i bought a second pair. they so comfy i dont even care...

Ok... here's the confusing part.

If I have cheap clothing or shoes during my highschool days, I'll be made fun of and laughed at. Wearing them while I'm older, no one will make fun of me. In fact, I'll be blending in with the other Walmart shoppers.

But if I buy a part for my Ranger and post it here....(tailgate damper) .......... You know the rest of the story.

I was among the first people to get the tailgate damper when it became available. Yes, I was discriminated at when I posted it. Soon after came the Kool Kids Klub. I didn't let it bother me. Otherwise I would not be here today.
