Since I was in the Air Force and occasionally visited bases that weren't Air Force, I can confirm.

Edit: One time we had to spend a week on an Army base (Ft Stewart).

My buddy and I walked in to the barracks, and it was a hmmmmm.

Then we walked into the bathroom where it was rows of toilets with no privacy dividers. Pooping with friends comes to mind.

We went to a hotel.
