What about the Helms Bakery Truck?

I don't think we had that back in MA. I vaguely remember the milk truck coming to the house with the glass milk jugs and the paper lids.

I just looked up Helms Bakery and it looks like it was started in S Cal

Only one I am not remembering is BlackJack gum. My granddad always gave out Teaberry gum. But for me it was Boons Farm Apple.

We had this country store that would basically sell alcohol to anyone who could see over the counter. lol It was out in the middle of nowhere and we would drive out there every weekend in high school and buy Boone's Farm wine,it was cheap and we were all broke. I do remember the apple and the strawberry wine.

Surprised you don't remember that. In '68 I was only 4 and I can picture the truck in the driveway and the milkman bringing the glass bottles up to the door. Sometimes I can remember stuff from way back then and can't remember what I did last week! lol

OMG I got so sick on MD 20/20!! We were night skiing and drinking all night (young and dumb) and needless to say by the time we got back home it wasn't pretty. lol I can't even look at a bottle today without gaging.

Ha...That's another one! Junior high school dance (yes I started early) my friend snuck out a bottle of Southern Comfort from his dads stash. We drank so much we never made it inside. Another one I can't look at. No,really I don't have a drinking problem.lol
