Hi Justin,

We did the Australian wave in the Outback around Ayers Rock... We had flynets over our hats to minimize the wave....Flies were so thick...like Florida Love Bugs....

Loved our time with the folks in the pubs...Margie and I really enjoyed our time in Australia. Drank a lot of beer of local brands....You folks know how to drink! Wow!

That's great Phil, glad to see you managed to get out amongst the beauty of the outback. The friendly flies sure can drive some crazy though, maybe that's why we drink so much

Oh it's definitely Aussie, but I wouldn't say it is as popular now as it was back in it's 'heyday', I think I have only ever tried it once to be honest?

In its heyday, those quart cans were all the rage in Alberta - nothing says “getting the full college experience” like drinking beer out of a Valvoline can!

Hi RP,

I believe Foster's is not sold in Australia.... An Aussie can tell a Yank in a bar quickly when they ask for Foster's Spent two months in Australia and New Zealand on an RV trip...Never saw a bottle or can of Foster's.

Do not know...The folks running the operation never mentioned it if it was part of the movie setting. It was a fun evening and the star walk was also outstanding. Highlighted by the Southern Cross among the southern constellations...

They go deep in thier accents once they knew your from USA. I had to listen carefully like have to watch thier face expression while talking. But beautiful place and people to hang out with.
